OUR STORY
The idea
behind Mura
Mura started with a simple idea: one place in the centre of Ioannina where the whole day can unfold at its own pace. Morning coffee turns into a slow brunch, brunch into a long lunch, and lunch, before you know it, into dinner and a cocktail with friends.
We wanted it to feel easy. Good ingredients cooked with care, coffee made properly and drinks worth staying for. And a space with a corner for every mood: the dining room by the open kitchen, the bar, the lounge sofas and the terraces outside, heated with patio heaters and big umbrellas so the outdoors stays open when the weather turns.
Come with a book, with friends for a long table, or with the whole family, dog included. Whatever the hour, there’s a seat waiting for you at Mura.

By day: espresso classics, plus V60 filter and cold brew made with carefully selected specialty beans.
By night: six signature cocktails, from the apple daiquiri to the spicy sour with mastiha.
Wine: house white, rosé and red by the glass, and bottles from Greek wineries such as Kir-Yianni, Gerovassiliou, Boutari and Tselepos.
